This was our first visit to Cairns. The weather was fantasic(30-34c every day).We spent most of the day going between the pool at Harbour Lights and the fantastic lagoon. Harbour Lights is a great place to stay.It is so central ,that you can walk to the lagoon, shops, supermarket and many places to eat.Our apartment looked over the Marina .This gave the kids lots to watch each day as many boats,tourist and cruise ships went past. Thanks we will be back to stay at Harbour Lights.

Very convenient for access to the terminal, and about a 10 minute stroll to the cheap eats area on the Esplanade. Apartment is brand new and our 3 bedder had wrap-around windows and views.
Avoid the tree-lined walkway next to the Pier at night when you walk back to the apsrtments - full of bats on the trees - they are aggressive and screech a lot.

The location was fantastic, great views over Cairns and surrounds, we enjoyed the activity by the waterfront, amazing to see all the tourists leaving every morning for the Great Barrier Reef. Will be returning in the future.

My family stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment and the view from the balcony over the marina was beautiful, the location is great and the apartments are well appointed, very clean and modern. We have to rate it an excellent experience!
