Ellis Beach Oceanfront Bungalows is situated halfway between Cairns and Port Douglas on a five kilometre strip of golden sand, surrounded by rainforest covered mountains.

This unique beachfront property is the only holiday accommodation development along Ellis Beach which makes for a perfect relaxing beach holiday.

Just over the road is the Ellis Beach Bar & Grill. It is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner; 7 days a week.  Live bands appear some Sunday afternoons – a great place to relax at the end of a busy beach day.

Ellis Beach is only minutes away from Palm Cove to the South, with its many beachfront restaurants and day spas, a ten minute drive from Clifton Beach shopping centre, twenty five minutes from Cairns City and 30 minutes to Port Douglas in the north.

Please Note: Between November and May all beaches on the Northern Queensland coast, including Ellis Beach, are populated by stingers. Their arrival so close to the beach prevents swimming in the ocean during these months. 

However, stinger nets are provided by the Ellis Beach Life Saving Club, located just 200m north of the park. This ensures that you are able to swim safely in the water, all year round.
