Bedarra Island is the perfect place to relax, take in the view, kayak, enjoy reading, eating and drinking. Treat yourself to a unique, exclusive, tropical Queensland island holiday.

The pole home, situated atop a small hill is completely private with stunningly beautiful views of the offshore islands. The house was built in 1995, by a top builder with first class knowledge of the local area and weather conditions.

Ideally suited for up to four persons all desiring the exclusiveness, beauty and peace of this lovely island.

There are two bedrooms and a mezzanine level with additional beds, fully equipped kitchen with gas appliances, upstairs bathroom with shower and outdoor shower (no worries about neighbours), lounge, dining, front, back and lower decks.

There is a television, radio and CD player. Linen is also supplied. As the house is solar powered, you cannot use hairdryers or irons. Water conservation is essential. There are no shops on the island, so all provisions must be brought with you.

The house is suitable for couples and families.

You can relax on the sofa, sunlounges or in the hammock.

Location:
Bedarra Island is located on the East coast of Australia between Cairns and Townsville. It is east of Mission Beach and then south of Dunk Island. It is part of the Family Group of islands which make up part of the Great Barrier Reef.

Getting There:
If you fly into or are coming from Cairns there are a few ways to the island:-

Fly from Cairns to Dunk Island with Hinterland Aviation or bus from Cairns to Mission Beach.
Launch transfer from Mission Beach to Dunk Island. From Dunk Island transfers to Bedarra Island are with M.V.Beachcomber.
