Built by a musically gifted Maltese family in the late 1930's, Floriana is a very small family run Budget Guesthouse.
Floriana is perfect for travellers who enjoy a boutique style guesthouse environment. Located only a 20 minute walk from the main restaurant precinct of the Cairns Esplanade and 25 minutes walk from the Reef Fleet Terminal.Floriana features an internal circular staircase leading to 4 studio rooms. There are also 3 studio flats with water views.
Step back in time. There are no telephones in the rooms. There is a pianola in the foyer and a dining table at the front of the building where you can enjoy a meal with a lovely vista.

Other services are tour advice and bookings. All tours to the Great Barrier Reef, islands and the Daintree Rainforest pickup from the nearby vicinity. For people doing a certified diving course or heading out on liveaboards, or to Cape Tribulation for a night or two there is a free luggage lock up. Popular tours from here include the Food Trails tour of the Atherton Tablelands, the Paronella Park and Southern Atherton Tablelands tour and White Water Rafting on the Tully River.
Office hours are from 8a.m. to 7 p.m. A minimum of 2 night stay.
There is not a courtesy airport pick-up however the Airport Shuttle bus is $8.50/person and a taxi is a maximum of $16/car.
