Cairns Hotels

Like any city, Cairns has a range of hotels to suit all budgets and requirements. In the city centre you will find a number of International Hotels including the Shangri-La Marina Cairns, Park Regis City Quays and the Novotel Cairns Oasis. Most hotels feature an onsite restaurant or have access to restaurants very nearby. General services include 24 hour reception, secure parking and wireless internet access. Airport transfers are generally not included in the rates, however as the airport is so close to the main city centre (just a 10 minute drive) the easiest is to hop in a taxi on your arrival. Check in is at 2pm and check out at 10am, this may be extended on request with the hotel and subject to availability.

 

Standard Hotel

Hotel Rooms are perfect for couples or business travellers providing comfort and convenience during your stay in Cairns. Standard room features include air-conditioning, tea and coffee making facilities, TV, ensuite bathroom and balcony. Bedding is usually a King/Queen or Twin Share which comprises of 2 x King Single Beds or 2 x Double Beds. Standard hotel facilities include 24 hour reception, room service, undercover parking, internet access and swimming pool.

Corporate Stays

Travelling for business? Cairns CBD is the perfect spot to base yourself within easy access to all city amenities. The Cairns Airport is conveniently located just a short 10 minute drive from the CBD. Hotel rooms are practical for short stays where much time is spent outside at meetings and conferences. Ideally if work is to be conducted from the hotel or for longer stays, then an apartment would be much more suitable, providing comfort and space to work.

Park Regis City Quays is ideally suited to the corporate or business traveller. Located in the heart of the central business district, the complex features modern and comfortable hotel rooms and apartments. From here it is just a 2 minute walk to the Cairns Convention Centre, shops, marina and all other services within the CBD.

Family Hotels

Family hotels have a warm lively atmosphere, with plenty of activities within the complex to keep the kids amused. Hotels that welcome families quite often include incentives such as 'children under 16 years stay for free', this a great relief for parents where savings can be made and put forward into exciting holiday activities instead.

Hotel Rooms can accommodate a maximum of 2 adults and 2 children under 16yrs in 2 x Double Beds. Children under 16yrs can stay for free in existing bedding. For larger families it is possible to request two rooms with inter-connecting doors. The on-site restaurant is open daily for Breakfast and Dinner. Breakfast is included free of charge for up to two children less than 16 years of age, when dining with their parents.

The Cairns Queenslander provides affordable accommodation for families, with children 12 years and under staying for free in existing bedding. The property features two swimming pools and two spas, plus an on-site restaurant (10% discount for evening meals) and WiFi Internet Access. Spacious self contained apartments are ideal for families with the option to self cater. Bedding is possible for up to 6 guests.
