The Resort:
Home to 126 native plant species, a myriad of birdlife and surrounded by magnificent coral gardens. It is around 6000 years old and was formed by a build up of sand sediments, animal and coral deposits to above sea level. It is 15 hectares (approx 37 acres) in size and takes around 45 minutes to walk around.

The Resort itself represents one of the most environmentally sensitive tourist spots in the world, designed and built with extreme care to preserve the island's delicate environment.

With just 46 luxurious suites, you will discover an intimate haven. Suites are set in clusters under the rainforest canopy and adjoining central facilities via raised covered walkways. They are cleverly secluded from the remainder of the island and day visitor facilities.

Reef Suite
The Reef Suites are split-level luxury suites with a large king size bed, spacious lounge area, separate bath, shower and private balcony.

Island Suite
The Island Suites consist of a spacious guestroom with either twin or king beds. Some rooms can be interconnecting or adjoining. All rooms have separate showers and bath and a private balcony. 

Disabled Room
The disabled room is located close to the reception and restaurant with wider doorways and ramp entry. Bedding is two double beds. There are hand rails in bath and toilet areas, and a fold-up chair in shower.

Dining:

Emeralds Restaurant is Green Island's signature restaurant and is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

The Canopy Grill offers casual outdoor dining to enjoy your favourite burger or one of the extensive buffets. A barbeque buffet lunch is available from 11am until 2.30pm.

Lite Bites: Icecreams, shakes and snack food.

Reflections Pool Bar: Refreshing drinks, specialty cocktails, coffees. Reflections Pool Bar and Emeralds Restaurant are fully licenced.

Beach dining is also available. (weather dependent)

Getting There:

Ferry:
Green Island is just 27km, a 45 minute boat from Cairns. These transfers are complimentary for house guests and are confirmed at the time of booking.

Departures from Cairns are daily at:
8.30am, 10.30am, 1.00pm

Departures from Green Island are daily at:
12.00pm, 2.30pm & 4.30pm.
