The Cairns Colonial Club Resort combines the tranquillity of a tropical resort with the advantages of a mainstream hotel, to create a relaxed, informal base from which to explore the many attractions in and around Cairns. The Resort is located 4km from Cairns City Centre and 7km from the Cairns Airport.
Situated on 11 acres (4.5 hectares) of tropical gardens and lagoon swimming pools, the resort has something for everyone. Room types available range from Standard Rooms to Vip Suites. The Standard rooms have been recently refurbished. Located in the main foyer of the resort, the Homestead Restaurant overlooks the main swimming pool and award winning gardens. This restaurant can cater for up to 250 people and features indoor and patio dining. Alfresco dining at its best, by the beach and swimming pool. The Poolside Café offers a range of light snacks and meals and is open from 10am - 10pm daily. The Jardines Restaurant, located in the Conference Centre offers tropical dining in a Traditional Queenslander Style Setting. Seating is available on the verandah overlooking the rainforest gardens or in air-conditioned comfort. The Conference Centre has been designed to create a true North Queensland experience for your delegates and guests. Please enquire for conference package rates. Facilities and Services:Special Access Rooms are at it's best here. As well as ramps throughout the property, there are two 'special access' rooms designed especially for wheelchair users. Transfers to and from the airport are made easy with the hydraulic chair lift bus. The special access rooms include:

- railings by the bed and throughout the bathroom
- enlarged doorways
- low level hanging facilities
- accessible draws and storage
- single control water mixer
- Emergency button in bathroom
- sliding door to bathroom
- low-level fascilities (hair-dryer, sink and power)

For guest's arrival and departure convenience, the resort operates free airport shuttle services, as well as a free courtesy coach to and from the Cairns City Centre (5 minutes away), every hour throughout the day.
