The Horizon Resort is perched high on The Point above Mission Beach and nestled amid the rainforest with unrivalled views of white sandy beaches and the Coral Sea.

This property offers boutique accommodation on the hillside with 55 rooms, each having a private balcony or terrace overlooking the ocean or the rainforest. Other facilities include a bar, formal and informal dining, a free-form swimming pool, tennis court and a dedicated conference centre for business purposes.

Accommodation:
The 55 rooms are nestled on a hilllside and linked by elevated timber boardwalks meandering through trees and foliage. The rooms are private, spacious and have spectacular views out to Dunk Island.

Queen Room:
These rooms are open plan hotel style, and contain either a queen size bed or a split king. They are classified as standard accommodation rooms, each have their own ensuite with bath and shower. Some have a balcony overlooking Dunk Island, South Mission and the Coral Sea.

Queen Suite: The Queen Suites are approximately twice the size of the queen rooms, with a large ensuite, dining suite and large patio with tropical rainforest and ocean views.

King Suite: These 2 spacious suites offer stunning views over Dunk Island and the Coral Sea. Rooms boast a large flat screen television, stereo system, dining suite, split king bed, sofa, seperate bath and shower and a large balcony - ideal for a special occasion.

Dining:
The Horizon poolside restaurant offers formal and informal dining, and has magnificent views over ocean and islands. Getting There:
Mission Beach is 2 hours drive south of  Cairns in tropical North Queensland - Connecting coaches run from Cairns into Mission Beach three times a day. We can organise your transfers from the Cairns airport or accommodation. You can also take a scheduled flight into Dunk Island and water taxi transfers to Mission Beach.
