Lizard Island is truly secluded from the rest of the world. Located right on the Great Barrier Reef, there are 24 powdery-white beaches and 40 luxurious villas and suites.
Your rate includes all gourmet meals, selected alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages as well as the following activities:-

Sensational diving opportunities abound, including the famous Cod Hole and the island is only a 50-minute boat ride to the legendary Outer Great Barrier Reef. The Ribbon Reefs near Lizard Island are also renowned for some of the best big game fishing in the world.
Snorkellers are rewarded for little effort with coral gardens, brightly coloured tropical fish and giant clams just moments from the island's beaches. Discover secluded, pristine beaches by foot or by motorised dinghy with a gourmet picnic just for two.
Dining is one of Lizard Island’s many pleasures. Osprey's Restaurant embodies the resort's understated elegance. The menu is fresh and creative, showcasing the finest local produce and freshest seafood and changes daily.

Accommodation is superbly relaxed with attention to detail:-
40 rooms all featuring air conditioning, bath robes, hairdryer, direct dial ISD/ STD telephone, internet access, ceiling fans, tea & coffee making facilities, mini bar, CD player, iron & ironing board, laundry service, beach towels & umbrellas, evening turndown service.
Anchor Bay Rooms: Located in a tropical garden setting with easy access to Anchor Bay and the beach. Anchor Bay Rooms have a private balcony with a hammock. Interiors are compact but comfortable and include a Bose sound system with CD player and iPod connectivity. Bedding includes a king-size bed (max 2 people) or two double beds (max 3 people). Anchor Bay Family rooms with two separate sleeping areas are also available. Bedding includes a king-size bed and a double sofa bed (max 4 people).
Sunset Point Villas: Stylish elevated Villas located cliffside along Sunset Ridge set amongst native eucalyptus bushland with filtered views over Anchor Bay or Sunset Beach. These Villas offer privacy and easy access to a string of secluded beaches. Each Villa has a private deck with comfortable Squatters chairs and a hammock. Sunset Point Villas also feature a Bose sound system with CD player and iPod connectivity. Bedding includes a king-size bed or a king-size bed and a double sofa bed (max 3 people)
Anchor Bay Suites: Set in a broad sweeping arc along Anchor Bay, with easy access to the main Lodge, Anchor Bay Suites offer captivating sea views and each has a pathway leading directly to the beach. Seamlessly blending indoors and out in an elegant and spacious open plan design, a large verandah with daybed is one of the many comforts. Anchor Bay Suites also feature a Bose sound system with a CD player and iPod connectivity. Bedding includes a king-size bed (max 2 people). One room is disable assisted but does not offer full disabled facilities. Spacious verandah with daybed.
The Pavilion: Perched high above the Coral Sea and set on the point of Sunset Ridge, the Pavilion combines complete privacy with a spectacular 270 degree panorama of Anchor Bay, Osprey Island and Sunset Beach.
An expansive decking area incorporates a private plunge pool, sun lounges and a daybed area inviting guests to relax and take in the stunning views. Leaving the balcony to stroll down a private path, guests will discover another secluded area where chairs and a table have been perfectly positioned to make the most of sea breezes and the gorgeous views.
Inside, the Pavillion offers every comfort. A Bose sound system with CD player, iPod connectivity and a laptop computer for downloading and sending emails are among some of the special features. Champagne and a deluxe fruit bowl greet guests on arrival. Bedding includes a king-size bed (max 2 people).
Dining: Osprey's Restaurant: Simple and relaxed, Osprey's Restaurant is the idyllic setting to take full advantage of the views along the seascape for a special dining experience on Lizard Island. With an accent on fresh seafood and superb local produce, the daily changing menus draw on the flavours of modern Australian, Asian and European cuisine.
Gourmet picnic hampers for beachside outings are available on request daily. A real treat.
Lizard Island is able to cater to any special dietary requirements, however due to the resort's location if you could provide as much notice as possible to ensure your needs are met.
Breakfast is available from 7 to 10:30am, lunch from 12 to 2:30pm and dinner from 6:30pm to 9:00pm.
Bar and Lounge: The resort's relaxed lounge, open all day, offers comfortable sofas and an inviting bar area. Enjoy tropical juices, coffee and tea, Australian and imported beers. The extensive wine list features Australian and New Zealand wines or you may select your favourite spirits, liqueurs and cocktails. A Cellar Masters list is also available if you wish to purchase a special wine for the occasion.
Signature Beach Dining Experience: For a special Lizard Island dining experience, choose from two beautiful beach locations. Prior to dinner, you will have the opportunity to meet with the Chef to discuss your 7-course degustation menu and matching wine selection. Minimal service interruptions ensure the ultimate seclusion and privacy. Private dining can be booked on arrival or during your stay at Lizard Island and is an additional cost.

Spa Package inclusions: An initial Spa consultation to determine the best treatments for you, a welcome bottle of
French champagne, a spa gift of an aromatherapy burner and oil & two (2) treatments up to a maximum of 2 hours. (Please note that treatments on our menu cannot be shortened, please select a combination of treatments to utilise the 2 hours). Treatment inclusions in the Spa Package are subject to change at the discretion of the resort.

Spa packages are available for a stay of 2 nights and over.
Dive Package inclusions: Includes one Half-day Inner Reef trip including a certified dive and one Full-day Outer
Reef trip including two certified dives. Also includes wetsuit and all equipment, soft drinks & light refreshments and lunch on the full-day trip. Alternatively, use the value towards a Private Charter vessel and guide to take you to rarely dived walls and pristine coral gardens.
Dive packages are available for a stay of 3 nights and over.
Dress Code: Lizard Island does not have a strict dress code but we would suggest relaxed, casual wear during the day and perhaps something a little more special for dinner. For ladies, relaxed evening wear and for men, collared shirts and long trousers and/or tailored shorts.
How to get there: Lizard Island is accessed by air from Cairns Airport in northern Queensland. Cairns Airport is accessible from all major Australian airports. We will need your flight arrival and departure details and the names of all people travelling in your party. Flight duration between Cairns and Lizard Island is 60 minutes. Please allow 60 minutes between Domestic Flights and Lizard Island Flights and 2 hours between International Flights and Lizard Island Flights (this includes Domestic Flights departing from the International Terminal). The luggage restriction is 32 kg per person, including hand luggage.
Transfers between Cairns Airport and the Hinterland Aviation Terminal for Lizard Island guests will be offered as a shared transfer with Coral Reef Coaches. This shared transfer will meet all incoming flights.
Please Note: There is no mobile phone coverage on Lizard Island.
Children under 13 years are not catered for.
