Excellent service and fantastic resort. Only (slight) negatives were that the hot breakfast food was rather cold and not very fresh and the influx of daytrippers was a little annoying.

Suggest that house guest staying on the island get allocated seating on tours to the island and reef. We had to cue and fight for seating with day visitors and that made the experience ordinary. I suggest more preferential treatment for house guest will make travellers feel special and wanting to come back again.
However, we had a great time, and the resort was choice!

Expensive, but felt truly pampered and happy to be \\\"an overnight guest\\\", as opposed to the huge number of day guests. Luxurious rooms, great service and delicious food. Buffet breakfast was amazing. Snorkelling was on and off with 2 days very murky.

We had a fantastic time, the service from all the staff were excellent they treated you like you were the only one there even though you were not. The rooms are a great size and very clean. The resort itself needs some work but this did not detract from our stay. We would go back there in heartbeat. The staff at Travstar were fantastic and could not do enough for me, Chanelle understood my situation and could not do enough for me. She was a gem through the whole process Agian thank you for a wonderful holiday.

Well run and staff very helpful. As a hotel guest everything was very easy using facilities. Busy with the day trippers who are all in a hurry. Fully subscribed reef tour would not be fun but only 70 on ours was great.

Green Island was great. We would definitely recommnend it to anyone. Our experience was excellent with the exception of one meal which was not good. However the chef actually agreed and personally spoke with us about it and we were not charged.

The island is amazing and so quiet after the day visitors leave. It was great being able to snorkel straight from the beach. The rooms were good but the bed was a little uncomfortable for the back. Food was great however expensive and the other eating options on the island close early in the day so room service dinner was a cheaper option. Front desk service was excellent. They were always more than happy to forfill our strange requests for phone chargers in the middle of the night. Some cleaning staff were a little unprofessional and waiting for our room to be made up was disappointing. Sunset drinks and fish feeding was great and the dive shop staff were excellent. Overall an unforgettable holiday. Will definatley come back again.

We have 3 days stay in Green Island. the staffs in the island are very friendly, we tried seawalker, parasailing and snorkelling in the island; and the other day spent in GBR. we saw many fishes and even seaturtles underwater. we enjoyed our days there. We hope the Resort could provide different varieties food during the dinner, cos currently there is only one western food resturant.

Enjoyable holiday experience, with a few nice touches. \\\"fish feeding\\\" tropical reef fish off the jetty, snorkelling above the coral reefs off the beach seeing turtles off the beach swimming freely was a delite to watch.

Only downside was that you only had Emerald restaurant to go to dinner which was a bit pricey and their kids menu is very typical and suitable for toddlers not for in betweens.

We were very impressed, the only thing was that we had only the \\\"Emeralds\\\" to eat out at night, and it was quite expensive. We had a lovely time however, and our rooom and room service was beautiful, and the Day Spa was the best experience of luxury.

We had lovely stay.Very relaxing. Beautiful spot.
Only really expensive because the kids had to have their own room, room sizes would be perfectly fine with 16 yr olds and under sharing room with parents.Shame there was brown slime pollution that hit the island on the last day not tempting to swim in it some staff saying it was the coral spawning !! some said it was algae it would be nice to think someone in Queensland is monitoring it as it looked decidely pollution like to me .
Thanks to you guys Natasha and Kim sorting it out for us much appreciated you were very patient with all our questions.
We will definitely come again.

Awesome restaurant and service, staff were wonderful especially Rosie (waitress), Billy (island events), Craig (Dive Shop), Baz (Barman). Got to swim with a wild turtle! Rooms exceptionally cleaned daily and turn down service a nice touch. Would highly recommend.

we really enjoyed our holiday on Green Is, we were there 22 years ago and a perfect day this time we had 5 perfect days the weather was great, we feed the fish most nights, snorkelled a couple of times each day and really enjoyed the trip to the outer reef which was our first trip out there. We went out on the glass bottom boat several times and down the underwater observatory both at night and day. Enjoyed the room which was up amoungst the trees and went back to see the crocodiles too.

The food in the restaurants was more expensive than on the mainland, but it was superb - eve meals and breakfasts - excellent chef - waitresses excellent. We found that the ultimate package was great value. We enjoyed our stay at Green Island and would definatley go back.
The menu at the resort was a little to upper class for us and very pricey.

Green Island is a gem. We had perfect weather and spent 4 days walking, snorkelling and just hanging over the railings on the jetty spotting all the different tropical fish - even saw two large turtles swimming by. I would happily recommend it to anyone - and fully intend to come back myself.

We thoroughly enjoyed our four nights on the island. The \\\"day trippers\\\" kept to one side of the island so even during the day you could find a quiet spot and once the last boat had left in the afternoon you had the whole place to yourself and the other guests. I would thoroughly recommend Green Island - it has enough rainforest to wander through and beach to walk around to get the experience without feeling you have to go on a massive hike each day to see everything leaving plenty of time to rest and relax!

very busy island during the day - due to hundreds of day trippers - probably not the place if you wanted a quiet get away otherwise staff were excellent, rooms clean. Restaurant needs to incorporate lighter choices for dinner menu in particular if you are travelling with teenagers or children.
