½ Day ATV Biking - Cairns

BLAZING ATV! HALF DAY ATV ADVENTURE NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY! AUSSIE BUSH AND RAINFOREST TRAIL SMALL GROUPS SPECIALLY DESIGNED TRAIL LOCATED IN THE ATERTON TABLELANDS

The ATV (All Terrain Vehicle) Safari with Blazing Saddles offers a ½ day of excitement, and allows the participants to experience nature close up, at their own pace. All tours cater for different levels of experience with guides taking the adrenalin junkies on a fast paced ride and another guide taking those happy to cruise.

Blazing Saddles property was the first ever Dairy Farm on the Tablelands in the early 1900’s.  The reservations and lunch area is in the original hay shed of the Dairy Farm.  Today Brahman Cattle (beef) are run on the property.

Upon arrival at Blazing Saddles, you will be met by the friendly staff with tea and coffee and a traditional Australian Damper, served with jam & cream. 

All the ATV's are easy to ride and provide the perfect transportation through the rainforest. The ATV Ride is exciting and there are a few water traps and hill climbs to negotiate. You will first be trained on an obstacle course and then examined to see if you can handle the power, then you are let loose on the adventure trail!

There is a smaller bike option for people not comfortable with the larger quad bikes. The ride takes about 2 hours and depending on if you do the tour in the morning or afternoon you will receive a delicious BBQ lunch or yummy finger foods for afternoon tea.

Beginners are catered for and the guides will give you a safety lesson before the tour. You need to wear jeans (or long pants), covered shoes and t-shirt (no singlets) and bring your camera and sunscreen. No experience is necessary and each tour includes a safety lesson and skill improvement on the obstacle course and all safety equipment is supplied.

There is also the option to combine this tour with an afternoon of horse riding, this combo offers the very best of Blazing Saddles Adventures! Enjoy 1.5hrs free time in Kuranda before your horseride adventure. The horses are well maintained and have a very friendly nature. You will be matched to a horse based on your experience and ability. Both the BBQ lunch and finger food is included in your day as well as full return transfers.
