This is the only Bungy site in the world to offer the unique Jump Menu. Everywhere else it's just jump forward or back. Cairns is the best place to Bungy!!
The setting, combined with a unique 'Jump Menu' makes Smithfield Bungy Tower the most spectacular place in the world to experience the thrills of Bungy.
You can also combine it with one of the many tours that are available here in Tropical North Queensland. Situated near James Cook University it is also easily found if you are travelling in your own transport or using public transport.
As well as experiencing the challenge of the 'CLASSIC BUNGY' jump, there is now also a platform above the normal Jump Deck which has a Waterslide, High Divers Springboard and Ramps that welcome any toy with wheels. Mountain Bike jumps seem to be the most popular!!
The higher platform has expanded the Jump Menu to 16 which now includes such jumps as the Fruitbat, Clingon, Cliffhanger, Haggis, Pendulum, Tandem and Elevator to name a few....
Conditions:
- Must be minimum 10 years old
- Must be minimum weight of 45kgs
- There is NO Maximum Weight!!!

Please note: participation in Roof and BMX are at Jump Masers discretion on day of travel. If deemed unable to complete jumps, a substitute activity will be offered. Not available in wet weather.
The 'MINJIN SWING' is a multi-person Swing where you fall from 45 metres in height down to just 1 metre in 3.5 seconds reaching speeds of up to 120km/h. But don’t think this is a show ground ride – you have the control. At the top while laying horizontally you need to pull the self release to start your Swing! So you are in control the whole time.
One, two or three people at a time can face the challenge of the Minjin - and legend further has it ... that anyone who enjoys the experience of the Minjin will live a charmed life.
Conditions:
- Minimum solo weight is 55kg
- No age limit applies, however a minimum height of 120cm
- Maximum individual weight is 120kg
- Maximum combined weight is 240kg (2 or 3 persons)
- Written parental authorisation is required for under 18 years old
