Aerobatic flights are tailored to your capabilities. Warbird Adventure Flights will include as many aerobatic manoeuvres as you like, from mild to wild.
Some of the manoeuvres which you are able to experience on our flights includes:
Aileron Roll - Barrel Roll - Slow Rolls - Wing Overs - Chandelles - Stall Turns - Loops - Hesitation rolls - Avalanche's - Cuban Eights, Reverse Cuban’s, Vertical Rolls.
The experienced pilots will fully brief you in all areas of the flight and explain in detail the manoeuvres which are available. During the aerobatics, the flight consistently pulls over 4G, if you weigh 75kg, then during the flight you'll weigh over 300kg. Try and life your arms!
Unless you are an experienced flyer your pilot will execute one manoeuvre at a time and confer with you before continuing on with the next manoeuvre, creating a totally unique adventure just for you.
30 Minute Aerobatics:
1 - 1.5 hour experience with 30 minutes flight time over the spectacular tropical north. This is the most popular flight, giving enough time for the full complement of manoeuvres from mild to wild, as much as you wish to do.
40 Minute Aerobatics:
1.5 - 2 hour experience with 40 minutes flight time over the spectacular tropical north.
For the truly adventurous, this flight pushes the envelope and includes all basic and advanced manoeuvres, as much as YOU wish to do. Not for the feint hearted.
Non - Aerobatic Adventure Flights:
Enjoy the unique experience of flying in a vintage fighter trainer aircraft over the spectacular scenery of tropical north Queensland, from the Great Dividing Range rising to the west to the lush tropical coastal areas out to the blue Pacific Ocean and the Great Barrier Reef.
