The Hot Air Ballooning and Kuranda is the best selling tour combo. Included in the package is a 30 minute scenic balloon flight, a champagne breakfast and the Kuranda Train and Skyrail, with plenty of time to explore Kuranda markets and other attractions.
Your day commences with an early morning pick-up from your hotel by a Hot Air coach. The one hour coach journey will transfer you to the Cairns Highlands where you can witness the inflating of the huge balloons.
Hot Air fly at Mareeba in the Cairns Highlands. Enjoy the picturesque landscape at sunrise. Breathe in the wide-open spaces! Hot Air have Australias largest fleet of balloons and a fun and highly trained crew to maximise the fun of your morning.
Following the balloon flight Come down to earth and enjoy a champagne breakfast, fresh juices, eggs & bacon and tropical fruits in the open air restaurant.
Your 5 hour balloon morning tour includes scenic 30 minute flight, full hot breakfast, champagne toasts, complimentary Flight Certificate.
After breakfast your Hot Air driver will drop you off to Skyrail Caravonica Station. It will take 1.5 hours to travel to the top of the range on the cableway, allowing for the two very worthwhile stops along the way.
Arrive in Kuranda for free time to go shopping and sightseeing. The Kuranda Heritage Markets are open daily. At your scheduled time board the Kuranda Scenic Railway for your return journey. The Train will stop at the Barron Falls is approx 1.5 hours. The journey comes to an end at the historic Freshwater Station for your shuttle bus return to your accommodation.
