If you are thinking about taking the plunge and learning to dive on the Great Barrier Reef, this 5 day PADI Open Water course is the most popular way to do it.
The adventure of staying out on the reef for 3 days and 2 nights on one of Pro Dives premium live aboard dive vessels is quite unique. The 5 extra recreational dives you get to do after your certification dives will give you much more confidence in your new sport. You will also get more time to snorkel, relax and really enjoy the reef.
