Scenic Balloon Flight - Cairns

Let Raging Thunder introduce you to the safe and exciting sport of hot air ballooning in a spectacular dawn trip over the Cairns Highlands (also known as the Atherton Tablelands).

The Atherton tablelands provide the perfect conditions for Hot Air Ballooning and the view from your basket of rolling hills and winding streams is stunning.

Raging Thunder will pick you up from your accommodation at 5.00am for the 90-minute drive to the flight site. You will arrive just in time to see the balloons beings inflated. As the sun rises your pilots gently lift off and quietly glide the balloons over the panorama of the Cairns Highlands .

Your balloon flight is only the beginning of your adventure... After your magnificent 30 minute flight, sit down to a delicious Aussie champagne breakfast at the Mareeba Heritage Centre, followed by an all Aussie Animal Experience.

In a relaxed informal setting, you'll have the chance to interact with some amazing animals whilst being educated about Australia's native wildlife. Animals you will see include Stella the 5 yr old Wedge Tail Eagle, Star the 9 month old Barn Owl, Macca the 15 month old Spotted Quoll and Bob the 2 year old Estuarine Crocodile.This is an amazing presentation not to be missed, equally loved by both adults & children.

The tour returns to Cairns at approx 10.00am.
