Take a stunning helicopter scenic flight out to the "jewel of the sea", Green Island, for a cool, refreshing dip in the island swimming pool.

Then continuing over to an exclusive helipad at Great Adventures Outer Reef pontoon, where you can enjoy an exquisite hot and cold buffet lunch, a wander through the amazing underwater observatory, a semi-submersible tour or try snorkelling with provided equipment and full instructions.

Green Island is a superb coral cay with delightful sandy beaches and crystal clear waters on the Great Barrier Reef just 45 minutes from Cairns. You will have 2 hours to explore this perfect piece of paradise.  Cruise on-board a modern comfortable high-speed catamaran to the first class multi-level pontoon situated on the outer edge at Norman Reef.

The diversity of the Marine life at Norman Reef is amazing.  You will see a huge number of beautiful small and very large tropical fish including a huge Maori Wrasse "Wally" who pops up to say hello.  This is the closest you will come to swimming in an aquarium.  The Coral Gardens are very pretty and extensive.  As a dive site there were fabulous swim throughs and caves and a fantastic range of sea life.  If you want to learn more about the reef there is a Guided Snorkel tour, which is very informative.  This is an additional cost and is guided by Vic who is passionate about this reef and it's inhabitants.
