Discover the secrets of this unique and special mangrove-lined waterway that is home to a rich and diverse array of wildlife including crocodiles, native birds and over 70 species of fish. Trinity Inlet supports a diverse and fascinating ecosystem.
Enjoy a calm water cruise while discovering the secrets of mangroves and the wildlife and the history and culture of the harbour and its trade. See crocodiles and a variety of native birds in their natural habitat, there is also a magic opportunity to view these fascinating reptiles up close during the Crocodile Farm Tour.
View hundreds of estuarine crocodiles, large and small at Australia’s largest commercial farm. Your tour through the farm includes an informative commentary about crocodiles and this fascinating industry. As a bonus, enjoy the magnificent water and wading birds which have come to call these attractive lagoons home.
Your coach journey to or from the crocodile farm travels through scenic sugar cane fields just to the South of Cairns.
M.V. Crocodile Explorer is an air-conditioned 15 metre catamaran departing twice daily at 9.30am and 1.30pm from the Reef Fleet Terminal. The 3 hour half day tour combines a cruise on Trinity Inlet as well as a tour of the Cairns Crocodile Farm. Morning/Afternoon tea is included.
