Day One: Check into Paradise Palms Resort

Paradise Palms Resort and Country Club invites guests to participate in a truly special visitor experience.  Situated just 20 minutes north of Cairns at the base of rainforest clad mountains, Paradise Palms offers an idyllic setting for your North Queensland holiday.  Paradise Palms Resort and Country Club is a Luxury Resort that features all of the facilities that you would find in a 4.5 Star Resort with fully equipped self catering apartments and Resort rooms.  Paradise Palms is fantastic for families with beautiful pools, a challenging golf course for adults and an innovative children's playground including mini golf for the kids!!

Resort Room - Spacious Resort Room with hotel service & facilities, and private balcony.  Bedding is either King or two singles for 2 people maximum.

One Bedroom Apartment - Spacious fully self contained apartment with full kitchen and laundry facilities, and private balcony.  Bedding is either a King or two singles for 2 people included.  A third person can be accommodated at an additional charge on a sofa bed.  The one bedroom apartment accommodates up to 3 people maximum.

2 Bedroom Apartment -  Spacious fully self contained 2 Bedroom Apartment with 2 bathrooms, full kitchen and laundry facilities, and private balcony.  These rooms are dual key configuration combining a One bedroom apartment and Resort Room.  The two bedroom apartment can accommodate up to 5 people maximum.

Golf
Constantly ranked as one of Australia’s best and most challenging courses, Paradise Palms offers a combination of sweeping fairways, snaking creeks, six lakes, narrow undulating greens and 94 bunkers. With no shared fairways, from every tee the golfer is presented with a truly spectacular and demanding layout.  Adeptly described as one of the most serene playing fields to be experienced, the backdrop alone is worth the effort – regardless of form. Swimming Pool
In addition to the "resort guest only" swimming pool, guests can also enjoy the 25 metre lap pool adjacent to the playground area. A kiosk, selling snack items, hot, cold and alcoholic beverages is open from 10am in this area.

Fitness Centre
There is a fitness room at the resort containing a tread mill, walker, rowing machine and exercise balls has been established and open 7 days a week with complimentary guests use.

Children's Adventure Park 
An innovative Children's Adventure Playground at Paradise Palms Resort and Country Club is located between the resort and main clubhouse.  The park is accessed by a kiosk and cafe which serves light snacks and refreshments.  The adventure park encompasses over 4,000sqm and offers a range of activities suitable for toddlers through to early teens. 

Adventure Playground
Three unique "Queenslander style" cubby houses and a large jumping pillow are the key features of the Adventure playground. Other equipment includes a climbing spider and swings a long with a large spacious lawn area  (with soccer nets) which is ideal to kick a soccer ball or football.

Mini Golf Course
The 18 hole mini golf course suitable for all age groups.  A day pass for mini golf is $10 for adults and $8 for children. This package includes a BONUS mini golf for each guest doing the package. 

Complimentary Palm Cove Transfers *
Complimentary Palm Cove transfers offered daily departing Paradise Palms at 10:30am, 3:30pm & departing Palm Cove at 10:45am & 3:45pm.

Day Two: 
Quicksilver Wavedancer to Low Isles offers everything you can dream of in a tropical island paradise. From the moment your luxury catamaran moors in the calm waters of the island's picturesque lagoon, a host of reef activities await you.

What makes it Great!

Day Three: Kuranda Train & Skyrail

This tour includes return transfers from Paradise Palms and transfer you to Freshwater Station for check in.  It is then time to board the famous Kuranda Scenic Rail for an unforgettable journey, winding over the mountain range over bridges and through tunnels into Kuranda. There are spectacular views of Cairns and the Coral Sea from your carriage and a souvenir booklet is included.

Kuranda is a small village in the Rainforest with one main street. From the train station it is a very easy walk to the markets and other attractions. This town became famous in the 1970's when many artists moved to the area to create art and crafts. A local market was born which is still famous today. There are also local art and craft shops and cafes. The Attractions are many and varied including Birdworld, The Butterfly Sanctuary and the Rainforest Noctarium. There are plenty of public facilities and also a park.

At the scheduled time you will board Skyrail, the world's most beautiful rainforest experience. Skyrail has four seat cablecars which travel up & down the mountain to Kuranda. The scenery is magnificent looking out over the Coral Sea and cane fields while skimming across the top of the Rainforest Canopy.

There are two stops enroute where your family can learn about the rainforest in the National Park's interactive information area and also take a walk along raised boardwalks through the rainforest. It is fun and educational. Once back in Smithfield, you will be transferred back to Paradise Palms.

Lunch is not included in this daytrip.

Departs: Daily at 8:00am, returns approx 5:30pm

Day Four: At your leisure

Day Five: Checkout of Paradise Palms, end of package or, stay for a few more nights. 

Getting There:
Arriving at Cairns International Airport in Cairns City, the resort is 20 minutes drive North and in close proximity to Palm Cove.  We suggest hiring a car when you are staying at Paradise Palms Resort as it is not easily accessed by local buses.

Children between the ages of 4-14yrs are children.  If your children are 15 yrs or older they are considered adults in the pricing in the rates table below.
