Guests are invited to meet at the Pure Snorkelling pontoon office at the Marlin Marina (D Finger) in Cairns at 10:30 am on the day of the tour. The session lasts approximately 30 minutes and is open to all ages. During this presentation a marine biologist explains reef ecosystems, key species to expect and reef conservation. The biologist will also join the boat for the snorkelling segment.
Check‑In & Departure
Check in at D Finger, Cairns Marlin Marina, from 11:30 am. The crew will welcome guests, complete the safety briefing and gear setup. The vessel departs promptly at 12:00 pm.
Travel to the Outer Reef
Guests enjoy a fast journey of about one hour to an outer‑reef snorkel site. The skipper selects the best location for the day based on weather and sea conditions.
Snorkelling Adventure
Arriving at the selected reef, guests jump in for more than two hours of snorkelling among coral gardens, tropical fish, giant clams and occasionally sea turtles.
Flotation devices are available but strong swimming skills are required. The marine biologist and crew will be on‑hand to answer questions.

After the snorkelling session, board the vessel for the return trip. Guests arrive back in Cairns at approximately 5:00 pm to 5:30 pm depending on reef location and sea conditions.
